슈퍼스타K2 출신 강승윤이 YG엔터테인먼트에서 3년간의 연습 끝에 마침내 7월 가수로 정식 데뷔한다.

YG 대표 양현석은 20일 자사 블로그를 통해 강승윤의 가수 정식 데뷔 소식을 공식적으로 알렸다.

양현석은 “강승윤의 첫 솔로앨범은 6곡이 수록되는 미니앨범으로서 음반 작업은 거의 완성단계”라며 “오는 7월 15일 WILD AND YOUNG이라는 첫곡을 선공개할 예정”이라고 밝혔다.

그는 “WILD AND YOUNG은 강한 록 장르의 곡으로서 허스키하면서도 시원하게 내뿜는 강승윤의 보컬이 잘 어우러져 무더운 여름에 매우 잘 어울리는 곡이라고 생각된다”고 곡 설명을 덧붙였다.

Kang Seung-yoon to release first album

Kang Seung-yoon, a contestant of “Super Star K” season 2, will make an official debut next month, his agency said.

YG Entertainment CEO Yang Hyun-suk said on the company blog that one of the songs “Wild and Young,” included in Kang’s EP album, will be pre-released on July 15.

“We‘ve nearly finished producing his album, comprised of six songs,” he said. “Kang and producers are deciding on the album release date.”

He added, “I think ‘Wild and Young,’ which falls into rock genre, goes well with Kang‘s husky yet cool voice and is very suitable for the hot summer season.”

Fans are excited for the news that Kang can finally make his way to the stage after having spent three years in training at the agency.

Kang was one of four final candidates of the Mnet audition show in 2011 and starred in MBC TV’s sitcom “High Kick” in 2012.
