Notice for Video Editor position The Korea Herald

The Korea Herald is looking for a Video Editor for its Digital Innovation team.

Working with producers and journalists, the editor is expected to strengthen the newsroom’s

digital content through digital storytelling and continue the newsroom’s mission of bridging

South Korea and the world.

Qualifications/Requirements

• 2+ years of experience producing and editing video content

• Strong knowledge of editing software including Davinci Resolve and Adobe Creative Cloud applications

• Hands-on experience in all aspects of video shooting and post-production including After Effects graphics creation, color correction, audio mixing and lighting

• Fluent in English and Korean

• Active problem solver and an excellent communicator 

• Independent and responsible video editor who enjoys and values professional teamwork 

• Possess a comprehensive understanding of the production process from pre-production, production to post-production

• Able to identify compelling narratives from raw footage

• Able to edit quickly under tight deadlines
